Turn Up The Base!
Base miles, lots of them, day after day, solo. Its the start of 07 and its only 06 I love that feeling. Finally finished this semester on Tuesday, but for the last two weeks my wheels have been rolling the tarmac all over the fine prairie landscape. I have been gradually working my way up from 2 hour rides to now 4-5 being the norm. Feels great to be road fit again. I was blasting down Plummers Road today to some downbeat tunes thinking how fortunate I am to be able to experience the open road virtually every day of the year and live the dream. Now all I need is a salary. One more year of the juggling game and then that will come. It's a good life. Life is beautiful.

I hear that. I too have had some base in the place. Mad its bonk-athon day in and day out.
Ya Per! Base is where its at. Too bad I'm in intensity mode right now cause I wouldn't mind joining you on one of those rides.

Nice work Per.
I have been commuting and trying to get out on weekends, but my time has been limited...
we'll be trying to get some weekend base rides going again after the New Year. (We have been doing alot of city touring).
